The Motorola Atrix has been making some serious waves as of late - first, we saw a Gingerbread test build that had an unlockable bootloader, and now the crew over at Android and Me have gotten a hold of some exclusive images showing the Atrix running Android 2.3.4 with the latest version of Gingerblur. Before I continue, have a look:

If these images are to be believed, then the Motorola Atrix is back in the game in a big way. The tipster went on to say that the update drastically improved battery life and GPS functionality, fixed the random reboot issues, and substantially improved the overall experience.

While it's quite easy to get excited about news like this, don't lose sight of the fact that images can easily be manipulated or faked. We're not suggesting that this is the case here - but I would take it with a grain of salt for now.

Great news and it looks like they fixed the theme. Is anyone still seeing upload caps?

And it looks like their toggles still don't include airplane mode.

There's a motoblur toggle widget for airplane mode.

It seems to be true. I have found a website with a download link for cyanogen's version of 2.3.4 for Atrix.

Trying to get my vulkano to stream media on my atrix, had me stumble upon tech support telling me I need the upgrade to 2.3.4 to work. A customer told tech support it worked after that. Although when I check for updates...nothing.
