As promised, T-Mobile has just announced its newest Android handsets: the Samsung Exhibit 4G and the Samsung Gravity SMART.

The two new Samsung devices will bolster T-Mobile's Android coffers by providing an affordable option for penny-pinching smartphone lovers.

The Samsung Exhibit 4G is the higher-end of the two devices, running Android 2.3 and featuring a speedy 1GHz processor, a 3 MP rear camera with flash and a camcorder, as well as a front-facing camera with video chat pre-installed and, of course, HSPA+ ("4G") connectivity. The device will also come preloaded with a bunch of games, including Bejeweled 2, Scrabble, and Doodle Jump.

The Gravity SMART will run on Android 2.2 and will be looking to deliver a "premium messaging experience" through the pre-installed Group Text app, the horizontal, four-row, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, and Swype. The phone also features a 3.2-inch screen, a 3 MP rear camera with LED flash and digital zoom, and a camcorder.

The former will cost $79.99, while the Gravity SMART will set you back $69.99, both after a $50 mail-in-rebate and with the now-obligatory two-year contract. You can also pickup a "Lunar Grey" version of the Gravity SMART from T-Mobile's website for just $29.99 with a two year agreement. Aside from smartphones that are completely gratis, this is a great deal for a mid-range Android device.

Both devices are "expected" to be available in June.

I hope you budget people do the damn math and get the $10 more phone. Seems like a crappy deal when you get the slider keyboard at the expense of an outdated OS, no 4G, beefier hardware, and front facing camera. I guess those included games maybe bumped up the price to $10.
