We don't really know what's going on with the web and possibly on-device Market right now, but we do know that it's fallen a bit sick, throwing Server Error pages left and right. At first, I thought the apps I was looking at were getting deleted, but then I noticed that the familiar-looking screen actually mentions a server error. After trying 10 more random apps, I got a total of 7 consistent errors and 4 successes. According to our quick polls on Twitter and Facebook, you guys are experiencing the same thing, so it's not just tied to my Market account.

We've reached out to the Android community team for a comment, but in the meantime all you and I can do is idly watch the Market fail from the sidelines. We'll update this post when we know more.

Here are some of the failing apps: 1, 2, 3, 4.

Update 6/2 10:30 p.m. PT: Things seem to be back. Never mind - the Market on my Tab 10.1 is hosed, so looks like the fire hasn't been put out yet. We'll work with Google to try to figure out what went wrong today.

Update: 6/3 12:30 a.m. PT: All back now for me. How about you?

Update: 6/3 1:30 p.m. PT: Google reached out to us and let us know everything was back to normal. No reason was given.
