T-Mobile: The G2x Will Get Gingerbread By Summer

Earlier this month, we got a hold of a Gingerbread leak for the LG G2x, and all seemed pretty official with that build, so we expected to see an official announcement fairly soon after. It's been a few weeks now, and while nothing concrete has surfaced from T-Mo, we now have a little more info on what's gong down:

Yeah... summer is pretty vague. Is that the beginning of summer? Or the end? We can't say for sure - but at least we have a little better idea of when the update may actually hit.

    Any news on the 2.3 update for Samsung Vibrant???
    wil they update the vibrant to 2.3 or do we have to stick to the 2.2?

      Man, don't be silly, words "samsung" and "update" are never used in the same sentence. You just going to have to buy galaxy s 2, and hope that it will be upgraded :)

    What about fixing the issues with the phone before the Gingerbread update?

    Sick and tired of this phone resetting a few times a day. I have to take the battery out and restart the phone each time it resets and freezes.

      Will the update fix the problem with the phone shutting off sporadically? Why does out do that anyway?

    Yes what about the G2 (HTC Desire Z) I'm still waiting for the official update to android 2.3
