The O.G. Samsung Galaxy Tab (7") may not pack quite the same horsepower as the Viewsonic gTab, but it's still a damn fine piece of kit, and today Woot is selling it for just $260 + $5 for shipping. Even better, it's the 16GB Sprint 3G + WiFi model, meaning those of you who want to sign up for a service plan can do so. The catch: it's a refurbished model.

A refresher on the Galaxy Tab's vitals:

  • 7-inch 1024×600 display
  • 1GHz Hummingbird processor
  • 3.2MP rear camera
  • Front-facing camera
  • 4000mAh battery
  • Android 2.2 FroYo with TouchWiz UI
  • 16GB storage
  • 3G/WiFi

Sound like a bargain to you? Head on over to Woot and pick one up while they last.

Seems a bit high. Verizon has new for $199 or $149 refurbished. And tmobile I saw for $99 on contract.

True, the initial cost would be cheaper. But then you're stuck in a contract - much more expensive in the long-run :)

holy $!@# a moderator post. lol. btw i totally missed the off contract price. that is a better deal. mad at myself for not buying the $214 att refurbished off contract deal a week ago =( .

Agreed! I might just jump on this deal and return my NookColor.
Better Battery life + Cameras + 3G if i decide to might just do it for me :D

Beware this tablet gets sluggish after a while. They should've really added more RAM. Also, for the features this thing should be worth this price new.
