If you just can't get enough first-person-shooter action in your life, then you'll be glad to know that Gameloft released a port of its popular iOS title Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus in the Android Market this morning. Up until now, this game was available exclusively through Gameloft's website, so hopefully this means that we'll start to see more GL titles hit the Android Market moving forward.

This game itself looks like it really lives up to all of the FPS goodness that we've all come to expect from modern games - fast gameplay, multiplayer, and all of the headshots that you can handle. Don't take my word for it, though; check out the trailer:

Looks pretty sweet, yes? If you're still not sold, though, here are some screenshots for your viewing pleasure:

This game is definitely a must have for hardcore gamers out there. You can get it in the Android Market now for $6.99.

oh yes, looking forward to Gameloft games on Android Market, I refuse to use Amazon market (even if I wanted it's US-only so no go for me)

  • Curt

Would be nice if the market let it install on anything I own, Not the Nexus1 nor The Advent Vega nor the ASUS Transformer :(

    • Joel

Works fine on my Nexus one.

  • Alvin

So what devices is this game available on?

  • Jaymoon

Purchasing this, only to nudge Gameloft into releasing all of their games into the Android Market.

Even if you don't like (or can't use in your country) the Android Market, choice is good.
