Update: It looks like we jumped the gun on this one. The Inspire 4G will not be offered for free, it will be the Samsung Captivate.

It's no secret that we all love Android. But what do we love more than Android? Free Android phones, of course! Best Buy Mobile wants to feed our addiction with the newest episode of Free Phone Fridays (and in this case, Saturday, too). If you mosey on into BBM this weekend you can pick up the Samsung Fascinate on Verizon or the HTC Inspire 4G Samsung Captivate on AT&T free of charge (with a two-year agreement on their respective carriers, of course).

Not sure if you want to commit with either of these phones? Here's a quick look at the specs for each:

Samsung Fascinate

  • 4 Inch Super AMOLED display
  • 1GHz Hummingbird processor
  • 2GB Storage, SD Card slot
  • 5MP Camera
  • Android 2.2

Okay, so it's not the hottest thing on VZW (in fact, the DROID Charge will probably be taking its place). But it's free.

HTC Inspire 4G

  • 4.3 Inch S-LCD display
  • 1GHz Snapdragon
  • 768MB RAM
  • 4GB Storage, SD Card slot
  • 8MP Camera with 720p video capture
  • Android 2.2

The Inspire is a solid phone (it's basically a Thunderbolt without LTE or a front-facing camera) and for the low price of free, it can't be beat. You can check out our review of it, if you're into that kind of thing.

Samsung Captivate

  • 4 Inch Super AMOLED display
  • 1Ghz Hummingbird processor
  • 16GB storage, SD Card slot
  • 5MP Camera with 720p video capture
  • Android 2.2

Yeah, it's basically the AT&T version of the Fascinate, with a bump in storage.
