Last month we told you about the beta of Tower Raiders 2, the sequel to the super-popular tower defense strategy game, Tower Raiders. The beta brought improved graphics and 6 new levels, and it looks like the devs over at Gianormous Games have been hard at work since then, because they just popped out the full "GOLD" version, which brings even more improvements and added gameplay (24 levels total, including #7 named "Charlie Sheen").

The premise remains the same, so don't expect changes to the basic principals that were in the beta and the previous version: destroy the enemies and protect your goods. Gameplay is fast-paced and logic-based, so you definitely won't fall asleep with phone-in-hand once you fire it up - I just installed this, and I’m having a hard time concentrating on what I'm supposed to be doing because I’m too busy playing.

Even if you’ve never played Tower Raiders, the gameplay and logistics are very easy to figure out. I can tell that this is one game that I’m not going to be putting down for a while. Time to go buy a second battery...

I've been playing the beta...awesome game. Amazon needs to make this a free paid app of the day so I can get the Gold!

Purchased! Loved the first one, can't wait to get lost in this one.

I played it for five minutes and now I'm hooked. It really is a great game.
