Excited for the ThunderBolt? If so, you're not alone; but if not, you've got even more companions.

However, thanks to Amazon Wireless, haters now have one less reason to pick on the ThunderBolt: the online retailer is selling Verizon's first LTE phone for just $179.99 - $70 less than the official $249.99 price.

When you add free two-day shipping and no taxes (in most states) to the mix, this immediately becomes the best ThunderBolt deal available - in fact, it's $20 lower than WireFly's offer. Additionally, the $179.99 price also applies to upgrades - definitely a huge bonus for existing VZW customers.

So, is this enough to change your mind about the ThunderBolt, or are you still waiting for the next big thing (hint: CTIA)?

Cheers, krtek!

Isn't it $20 less than Wirefly? Although, if you go through fatwallet you can get $25 cashback with the wirefly deal.

    • Chaz

does that mess the phone up in anyway? and if you delete it will your phone go back to the way it was before?

        • TonyM

It's a free app. It doesn't mess up your phone. It's a fantastic text messaging app and much better than the stock one. I use "Go SMS" instead, though.

You have no business buying a powerful Android phone like this if you're afraid of installing apps! Just kidding. :p

        • Laxwillsch

You really dont know anything about android do you?? Lol jk nothing will mess up your phone from the android market. I believe what your taking about is rooting and jailbreaking. That, if I were you would stay away from.

@Laxwillsch Unless it's a virus that roots your phone :P
