For the past few weeks, a very talented Android Police fan Mike Smith has been working on something special for us - our very own video intro that we can use as a pre-roll in the YouTube channel going forward. Today, I'm proud to show all of you the final product.

Seconded! I've considered but never actually replaced my boot animation. But this is outstanding~ Will the usual 480x800 look pixelated on the Galaxy Tab though?
If anybody has a way to convert this into a vertical boot animation, please let me know.
For what size screen Artem? I know someone who can probably make it happen.
Probably the most common one (480x800?), in portrait and landscape modes.
Is it to loop endlessly or a picture to display at the end?
I'm not sure what would be best actually. Probably loop.

I still think that someone with more experience should come up with a boot animation for this video. It would be awesome!
I still think that the materials could have been better... I mean at least try to have better lighting, give the material a bit of a glossy touch and lower the saturation? the shade of green feels very outdated.
