It's been a long, hard road, but the Notion Ink Adam has finally been approved by the FCC and is going to start shipping "around Wednesday" to those who pre-ordered.

Although the product isn't yet available in the FCC's database, Notion Ink CEO Rohan Shravan has let us all in on the good news via the NI blog. He claims that the tablet's product code will be NI3421A01, where "NI" stands for "Notion Ink," "A01" means "Adam 1 Series," and "3421" is a string of consecutive digits in the Fibonacci series.

Rohan also informs us that pre-orders will commence within a few days (initially, pre-orders sold out shortly after they begun). He also says that the company has learned from its mistakes and will not repeat them. Let's hope so!

    Notion ink adam roxxxxxxxxx
its gonna be the apple of this generation

Ummmm, Apple is the Apple of this generation. Generations tend to last longer than the 10-15 years Apple has really been making mobile devices. Also, for me, being compared to Apple is a backhanded compliment. If Notion Ink follows that model they wont do very well. I still want to see this in the wild. And how much support is this thing gonna get? I would guess about as much as your friendly, nieghborhood Samsung device.

Notion Ink isn't a multi-billion dollar company (yet!). They've been around about 3yrs. Yes, they are this generations Apple. Go back to the 1984 apple commercial. They were an upstart computer company (with way better financial support) fighting against the "Mighty" IBM. Fast forward 26 yrs. Now the "Mighty" Apple is threated by a small upstart out of India (NOT Motorola). History repeats itself when the man refuses to change himself not just the world. He became the man on the screen, not the woman with the hammer.

      Not true :) Really?

Umm no it isn't. Not even remotely close.

Haha to Honeycomb (base) & Apple OS 4.3(Beta). The last hurdle for the ADAM (EDEN UI) to be available in America has been met. EDEN UI multitasking is so far Superior than both of those upcoming updates.
Here's a preview of Apple OS 4.3 Beta being demoed in this video (starts @ 2:16 point) some functions look real familiar but are better in EDEN.

You guys need to learn how to right. One of the complains about NI fanbois is that you are biased. The problem is when you say:

"He claims that the tablet’s product "

It reenfoces that. Think about the word claim. It denotes that its not a fact and simply a what someone is telling you, that you don't believe him. Now if you had said.

"Notion Ink CEO Rohan Shravan has let us all in on the good news via the NI blog with details on the product code. Specifically that the tablet’s product code will be NI3421A01, where "NI" stands for "Notion Ink," "A01" means "Adam 1 Series," and "3421" is a string of consecutive digits in the Fibonacci series."

No feeling that the post is giving the stink eye to Rohan. Seriously guys. Think about it before you post.

I used the word "claim" because the Adam wasn't on the FCC's website at the time of this writing. Therefore, Rohan is saying it's been approved (and we have no reason not to believe him), but there's no solid evidence of it.
And I'm going to ignore your writing lesson since I can easily spot several errors in your comment (i.e. "right" where it should be "write," "reenfoces," which should be spelled "reinforces," and "fanbois," which should be "fanboys"). Thanks for the tip, though!
