Samsung Continuum Source Code Available For Download

It's been less than two weeks since the phone launched, but the Continuum's source code has already been thrown up on Samsung's Open Source Release Center. Regular users won't get much use out of it, but developers may be able to, and it should certainly help out with the development of custom ROMs for the device. Perhaps the awesome folks over at XDA could even find some interesting uses for the second "ticker" display? If you want to check it out, search for "SCH-I400" in the source link.

Verizon has finally announced the Motorola Droid 2 Global on the Verizon Facebook page. It may seem a bit backwards since the pre-order has been going on for a while - but now it's officially official. The D2G will be priced at $199.99 with a new two-year contract and after a $100 mail-in rebate - which means you'll be paying $299.99 upfront.

Sony Ericsson CEO Hints At Rumored Playstation Phone, Leaves Us Begging For More

Bert Nordberg, the CEO of Sony Ericsson, told the Wall Street Journal in a recent interview that “there’s a lot of smoke, and I tell you there must be a fire somewhere” when asked about the PlayStation phone rumors and leaks. Nordberg also said that Sony Ericsson plans to "make a lot of noise" with a new product at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February 2011. Could this be the famed PlayStation phone? Get Sprint's Galaxy Tab $50 Off Black Friday Deal Early During RadioShack's "Shack Friday" (November 21st-24th)

If you use AppBrain for all of your Android app downloads, then you'll want to update the app as soon as possible: the latest update to version five includes all of the following awesome new features:

Unfortunately, the integration of the Fast Web Installer probably won't help thanks to the new Market update breaking it, but with plenty of other new features this update is still pretty substantial.
