It all makes sense now. GetJar's servers crashing, the number of times our post announcing the arrival of the full version of Angry Birds was re-tweeted, the amount of cash Rovio, the company behind Angry Birds, must be rolling in right now...

Rovio has just tweeted out just how many times their incredibly addictive Angry Birds game has been downloaded, and frankly, they've got a huge hit on their hands. The figure? One million downloads on Friday, October 15 (the first day the full version of the game was available) alone. Let's just hope that this sounds out the signal that Android truly is a viable gaming platform and can compete with the iPhone in this arena.
