What would have justified a full point release would be far better voice control. I use vlingo only because native android is about 40% accurate in dialing by name. Vlingo is closer to 90%. Can't Google afford to hire some good voice recognition specialists?

I tried ICS and just didn't get why it was a full upgrade - it just didn't do that much to help the end user.

What would have justified a full point release would be far better voice control. Got my Ni last Feb and went to Smart to program the MMS/3G, got d settings from Yugatech too. I have WiFi at d ofc but just plane cable at home. Besides, HSDPA is spotty here in my place, Iloilo and expensive too. GPRS meaniwhile is too slow and not worth it. Lot's of hotspots around so why pay? I guess i don't hasve to remind you to turn off 3G or your Smartbill might surprise. Hey, have you tried LauncherPro? Best app, 7 homescreens plus programmable/scrolabble widgets, less screen clutter. Was thinking of porting HTC sense to my N1 mainly for the 7 HS but i'm glad i didn't. Otherwise I would have to root and updates would be hard to come by. With Gingerbread by year end, i'll keep my N1 stock and unrooted (then there's the bricking risk too, ha,ha...)Try Gesture search too, nifty. I guess i'm lucky enough to get my N1 direct from Google (hand carried from US of course) before they closed it. At $530 = <P25k, it's a steal for 0ne the if not the best Smartfon now. Never was an Apple fanboy. I can see u got a silicone casing, had one too (actually an iPhone that fiitted) but changed it to Zagg Protector at SM MegaMall (kiosk at CyberZone entrance). They have it on stock with a 30-45 mins install (its the drying that takes long). Pricey at P1.5k but lifetime free replacement (P400 labor), totally worth it. They say there a number of N1s locally. This fon raises my Smartfon IQ steeply, learned a lot since i had it. Android truely is great and the anti-thesis of Apple.

Glad u got 3G, read my email just now.
